The CardioAccess International Clinical Outcomes (ICO) Database is a fully relational, comprehensive database for both congenital and adult heart disease. The ICO Database with its integrated “Centripetus Web Portal” is configured to analyze and report on key metrics for a particular specialty procedure. The Centripetus product allows for participation in multiple societal registries and enables national and regional benchmarking. This integrated registry solution is specifically configured to measure and report to the following registries:

    • Congenital Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgical Database which includes all of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) congenital data elements
    • Congenital Anesthesia Database which includes all of the Congenital Cardiac Anesthesia Society (CCAS) anesthesia data elements
    • American College of Cardiology (ACC) ACC IMPACT Registry Database (for adult and pediatric patients with congenital heart disease undergoing diagnostic catheterization and catheter-based interventions)
    • Cardiac Intensive Care Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Consortium (PC4) Registry Database

Further development is underway including fully integrating both the ELSO ECLS Registry and the PPH-NET Registry (Primary Pulmonary Hypertension)

The goal of these registry databases is to provide medical practices with local and/or remote real time access to patient information, thus leading to better medical care and true longitudinal patient follow-up.

CardioAccess with its HL7 based CAConnect product line, fully supports bidirectional HL7 integration form all CardioAccess products into and and out of all existing hospital (ADT) systems or any other HL7 supported software application, thus saving time and money on data entry and data transfer.
