CardioAccess is committed to becoming the world leader in medical information management. As a service to the medical community, we are proud to provide, at reduced fee of $1000 plus a yearly data export fee and a $350 STS license fee (as of December 1st, 2008), this 2008 VERSION 2.50 of the CARDIOACCESS CONGENITAL CARDIAC MINIMUM DATASET DATABASE. This Database was developed in conjunction with two cardiovascular surgeons: Jeffrey P. Jacobs, MD of St. Petersburg's All Children's Hospital and Constantine Mavroudis, MD chairman of The Society of Thoracic Surgeons Database subcommittee and Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. The CardioAccess Congenital Cardiac Minimum Database is 100% compliant with the standards for a congenital heart surgery minimum database developed by the International Congenital Heart Surgery Nomenclature and Database Project and described in the manuscript: Mavroudis C, Jacobs JP. The data sets and short lists were also unanimously approved by the Congenital Heart Surgery Committee of the European Association for Cardiothoracic Surgery (EACTS) and adopted by the European Congenital Heart Surgeons Foundation. For centers desiring a more comprehensive adult or congenital cardiac surgery database, the CARDIOACCESS COMPREHENSIVE CARDIOVASCULAR AND THORACIC DATABASE is commercially available.
